According to the Travel Health Insurance Association of Canada, 36% of Canadians are planning to travel this winter! With over a third of Canadians planning a trip abroad, it’s our responsibility to ensure our clients are educated about the need for travel insurance.
What happens if a client gets unexpectedly sick or injured while on vacation? Travel insurance alleviates the stress of not understanding a foreign health system. Some countries will stick travellers with pricey medical bills – and without health insurance, the costs can overwhelm.
