Update on Canada Post Strike

Update on Canada Post Strike

Better Benefits PlanWe would like to remind our clients and members that during the possible Canada Post strike, claim cheques will be held at The Benefits Trust office until regular mail services resume. As a result, claim cheques will not be mailed out after today, Thursday August 25, to ensure no cheques are caught in the Canada Post mail strike.

Note, completion of a direct deposit form will ensure no claim payment interruptions or delays. We encourage all employees to complete and return a direct deposit form with a void cheque or direct deposit detail statement from their bank.

Click here to access the direct deposit form.

Direct deposit forms can then be submitted to us by fax or email.

Employees are also welcome to contact our office to arrange pick-up of their claim payments during our regular office hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our office at 905-264-8990, 1-800-487-2993, or via email at [email protected].
